George Frideric Handel's memorial in Westminster Abbey
The “Arrival of the Queen of Sheba” is one of Handel’s best-known works--and yet the main theme first appeared 15 years earlier in Telemann’s Concerto for Three Violins.
Some call Handel’s use of other composers’ music “creative borrowing.” Others call it plagiarism.
