Kat Maudru

A Bay Area transplant, Kat is a longtime radio personality who got her start in San Francisco and moved to Sacramento to marry her high school sweet heart, Chris. She spent over 20 years on 96.9 The Eagle as a morning show co-host, news director and public affairs director. 

A news junkie, Kat has a bachelor’s degree from U.C. Berkeley and a master’s degree from San Francisco State. As a passionate supporter of the nonprofit community, Kat serves on several boards and frequently volunteers her time to emcee fundraisers.

A mother of two grown daughters, her interests include travel, yoga, cycling, snow and water skiing and cooking. Oh yeah, and she owns a set of golf clubs, but that’s about as far as that activity goes. Kat and her husband were recently certified as open water scuba divers, but she would not go so far as to call this a passion of hers. Yet.
