The Placer County Sheriff's Office says it will suspend the search for missing ski instructor Carson May Tuesday.
The 23-year-old was last seen Thursday when he and his brother went skiing at Sugar Bowl. The two were separated in "white-out conditions."
After five days of intensive searching there has been no sign of Carson. The sheriff's announcement says the search has been "treacherous," with frequent heavy snow and high avalanche danger.
