Today on Insight, you’ll meet UC Davis professor emeritus Peter Marler, whose groundbreaking work has helped researchers begin to answer the question. He was recently elected as a foreign member of the Royal Society in England for his work on communication in birds and primates. Farm Sanctuary Farm animal advocate Gene Baur has a new book, "Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food."
