UPDATE 4/24/17 7:02 p.m.: Sacramento police have made an arrest in the shooting deaths of two people found on a street in South Sacramento early Sunday morning.
Sean Huang was arrested at a hospital where police say he was getting treatment for an injury suffered during what they say was a home invasion robbery at a marijuana grow house on 68th Street.
Original Post 4/23/17: The Sacramento Police Department says two people were found dead early Sunday morning near the 5900 block of 68th St. after officers were called to the area with reports of gunshots fired.
The department said in a release that a third person, a shooting victim with whom police officers had contact near the 6800 block of Cunningham Way, may also have been present during events leading up to the deaths near 68th St.
Police are also currently investigating the events’ possible connection to a nearby home with a marijuana grow operation, where investigators think a burglary may have happened before they were called.
The department says investigators are canvassing near the scene for evidence or witnesses.
