The woman accusing Sacramento Kings head coach Luke Walton of sexual assault has dropped her lawsuit.
Kelli Tennant, a former sports reporter, had claimed Walton groped her in a Los Angeles hotel room while he was an assistant coach of the Golden State Warriors. She filed the suit soon after Walton took the Kings job in April.
This week, Tennant filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to drop the suit.
In a statement, Walton said he would not comment on the matter.
Tennant's attorney did not respond to requests to discuss why his client dropped the suit.
The NBA investigated the allegations but took no action against the coach. Tennant declined to participate in the investigation.
