Lisa’s professional experience includes commercial and public broadcasting.
She has been with Capital Public Radio since March, 1991, working in Development with duties from volunteer coordination and administrative support to fundraising and events. Since 2000, Lisa has served in her current role as Corporate Support Executive. She is among Capital Public Radio’s On-air Pitch Team, and can be heard during fund drives throughout the year.
A founding member of the Alliance for Women in Media, Sacramento Chapter, Lisa continues to serve on its Board of Directors. She is a part of the marketing committee for Keaton Raphael Memorial, a non-profit that supports children with cancer. She has served on the Fundraising Committee of Wellspring Women’s Center and as a member at large of Sacramento’s “Give a Little Something,” a charitable organization that grants money to local individuals in need.
Lisa is active in her church. She served for many years as a Youth Minister, and on the Liturgy Board of her parish. She is a Bereavement Minister and a long-time Music Minister, currently at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
Lisa also enjoys singing jazz and does commercial jingles as often as possible.
