Andrew grew up in California’s Central Valley, in the relatively small town of Manteca. Shortly after receiving his first car as a teen, he discovered CapRadio and learned all the wonders of Insight, This American Life, All Things Considered, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, and the numerous other eclectic, vibrant, and engaging content public radio had to offer. He’s been hooked ever since.
He spent time in college radio as a volunteer and professional advisor, as a fill-host with CapRadio News and Modern Music, and is now the voice of the Middays bringing you the news you need from 9am to 2pm!
With what he’s been told is “a voice for radio” he serves as your friendly guide through a smorgasbord of awesome programming, newscasts, storytelling and more! When not on the radio, he can be found collecting vinyl, watching foreign-language films, pretending he can still play the guitar and playing board games.
