Cathleen Ferraro
Director of Major Gifts
Cathy joined Capital Public Radio in August 2017. She came to the station with 14 years of fundraising experience in healthcare and 17 years in newspaper and magazine journalism. Cathy comes from a radio family with sisters, cousins, father and uncles all working in commercial radio for decades. Her favorite programs are Radio Lab on NPR, anything locally produced on CapRadio’s news station (KXJZ-FM 90.9) and everything on CapRadio’s music station (KXPR-FM, 88.9). Outside of work, Cathy enjoys her friends and family, teaching and playing the piano, visiting Southern Italy and going for a swim in the blistering Sacramento heat or under the stars at night.
