Scott Collard

Scott Collard is a creative pianist and keyboardist, and also an award-winning composer, arranger and producer. He is well known for his work as a studio musician and for his performances on a number of TV and film scores. At the age of 19, Mr. Collard founded Media, an L.A.-based improvisational collective. Media's unique sound was described by the L.A. Times as "an inventive fusion of Art Ensemble and Weather Report." In addition to composing, arranging, and producing the music for Media, Mr. Collard has written works for big band, orchestra and a variety of other ensembles, and has composed scores for television, independent film, radio and video games. He is also an independent iPhone and iPad App developer and founder of Gritless Digital.
Mr. Collard currently resides in Sacramento, CA with his wife, singer and guitarist Melissa Collard.
