Shayne Nuesca is a Filipino American journalist born in the Philippines and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She is passionate about thoughtful representation of her community, along with other Asian Americans and people who deserve equity. She laid the groundwork for “Filipinos in Alaska,” a project by KTOO Public Media and America Amplified to illuminate stories of the Filipino experience across the state.
