Sacramento, Calif – June 18 , 2012 : Capital Public Radio’s Annual Used Record & CD Sale will be held Friday through Sunday June 22 – 24, 2012 . Friday Night’s Preview Party from 6 to 9 p.m. offers first pick of the selection with a $20 admission fee for non - members and a $10 admission fee for Capital Public Radio members.

“Bargain hunters usually line - up well in advance, they know this is the be st deal of the year, and all the proceeds benefit Capital Public Radio, so it’s a win for the community too,” says Dennis Newhall, Record Sale Coordinator for Capital Public Radio.

The Annual Used Record & CD Sale offers music and movies for hugely discoun ted prices. LPs are up for grabs at $1 each. DVDs, video games and CDs are also available for less than $5.

There are diverse formats of audio and other entertainment to choose from in a variety of genres . All types of media are available, f rom LPs to CD s , video games, and VHS to Blue Ray DVDs , cassettes, 45s and 78s. All musical genre s are featured, including, classical, h ip - hop, country, easy - listening, punk, and more.

Capital Public Radio members receive 20% of f all purchases. E very dollar supports programs on Capital Public Radio like “Insight” and “Mick Martin’s Blue s Party,” and jazz and classical music. C ome early to get the best selection.
