Sacramento, Calif – May 23 , 2012 : Capital Public Radio is currently accepting donations of used CDs, DVDs, LPs, video games and other audio formats for its Annual Used Record & CD Sale. Donations are accepted at a number of Barnes & Noble and La - Z - Boy Furniture Galleries locations through out the Sacramento, Stockton/ Tracy and Tahoe /Reno areas. Additional locations include Newsbeat in Davis and Tomes in Grass Valley. Detailed location info can be found at www.capradio.org/recordsale.
All formats of audio are collected. All genres of music are accepted: classical, h ip - hop, country, punk, and more. Video games from any system, including XBOX, Playstations and Wii are also encouraged. Capital Public Radio is a nonprofit 501c3 organizati on and any donations made may be tax deductible. Partner locations will be accepting donations until Friday , June 8 , 2012.
Capital Public Radio ’s Annual Used Record & CD Sale will be Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 23 - 24 with a Preview P arty from 6 - 9 p.m. Friday, June 22 at the Howe ‘Bout Arden Shopping Complex, Suite 172 in Sacramento .
