Forecasters say we’ll finally see temperatures under the century mark beginning tomorrow.
“It’ll be just a nice, welcome cool down for everybody.”
Craig Shoemaker is with the National Weather Service in Sacramento. Shoemaker says a large, upper-level system centered over Nevada is finally shifting south, heading toward southern Arizona.
“…and that’s going to allow a weak-trough of low pressure to develop along the West Coast and that’ll help us get more of an onshore flow beginning tomorrow evening and continuing through the weekend.”
Today marks seven-days in a row that the Sacramento region has been over 100 degrees. That string will be broken tomorrow when temperatures are expected to be in the low-to-mid 90s.
