Nearly 30-thousand people in North Natomas are being asked to conserve water after a water main break. It happened Monday when a sanitation crew was working on Arena Boulevard just east of Truxel Road. The city of Sacramento says the break occurred in a large transmission main that’s located in a levee, which complicates the repair.
The city is asking people in the area to avoid washing their cars or watering their lawns and run major appliances only if necessary. Repairs are expected to be finished by Thursday.
