The developers of a downtown arena have submitted plans to the City of Sacramento Planning Department detailing what is currently at the site of what would be a new arena.
Sacramento Basketball Holdings LLC filed a conditional use permit, planned unit development, tentative subdivision map, and special planning district entitlement application.
According to those documents, the new arena project would be 150 feet high, take up a million square feet at the corner of 7th and L Streets, and seat 17,500 people.
The arena would be accompanied by a practice facility, retail space and restaurants.
North of the arena would be 1.5 million square feet of mixed-use development includeing a 250-room hotel, and up to 550 multi-family residential units.
