Eight 18 wheelers delivered the cookies. It took more than 250 troop leaders about six hours to unload the cargo.
Alicia Allen with
Girl Scouts Heart of Central California says the cookies are the primary fund-raiser for the organization.
"There's definitely more to cookies than what's in the box. The Girl Scouts that sell them learn so many essential skills like goal-setting and decision-making and people skills," she says.
More than a million boxes of cookies were distributed during a similar event in Sacramento on Saturday.
