(AP) -- A bear that apparently became too accustomed to the good life at a ski resort at Lake Tahoe is headed for an animal sanctuary after wildlife officials decided he's too domesticated to be returned to the wild.
The bear, named Heavenly, was captured in March after skirting past a busy ski lift at the Heavenly Mountain Resort at Stateline.
Veterinarians at Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, Inc. nursed him back to health and state wildlife officials released him in the mountains 25 miles south of the lake last week. But they tell KRNV-TV that he made it back to Tahoe within a matter of days and started approaching people again.
He's been returned to the care center while officials try to find him a new home.
