UC Regents met this week in Sacramento and there was a lot to talk about: lobbying for more money from lawmakers now that state coffers are flush; addressing sexual assault on campuses; and boosting the number of students transferring from community colleges. That last one got a special shout out from Governor Jerry Brown, who attended the meeting and suggested UC consider decreasing freshmen enrollment in favor of welcoming more transfer students.
