The Holt men have demolition derby in their blood. For three generations, the Modesto family has participated in demolition derbies all across the state.
Brothers Doug and Brian learned from watching their father compete. They inturn have passed along their love of derby to Brian’s sons, Josh and Nathan.
Not enough to quit their day jobs as scrappers, the prize money Doug and Brian win helps the Holts sustain their passion for destruction throughout the year.
At the Sacramento County Fair, the Holts enter the arena not just as family, but as friendly foes.
