Fix 50 work will continue under the elevated section of the freeway through the end of the year.
There may also be occasional lane closures at night or on the weekends as crews complete striping and seismic retrofitting as well as lighting and fencing.
And Fix 50 isn't the only road construction project in Sacramento.
Myers and Sons is also the contractor for the Sac Decked Out project. That includes rehabilitating the bridge decks on Interstate 5 and U.S. Highway 50 along the Sacramento River in Sacramento and West Sacramento.
That project involves a variety of night and weekend ramp and lane closures.
And work also continues in the Watt Avenue and Highway 50 area. This week, there are intermittent overnight closures for all of Watt Avenue at the 50 interchange off and on ramps.
