The Bully Fire, which started Friday, has destroyed eight homes and 10 other structures.
The California Department of Fire and Forestry Protection says 27-year-old Freddie Alexander Smoke III of Sacramento was arrested Saturday for investigation of recklessly causing a fire and illegally cultivating marijuana.
