The second suspect in the shootings of sheriff’s deputies in Sacramento and Placer counties has been moved from the Sacramento County Jail to another facility.
The Sacramento Sheriff's Department Thursday said Janelle Marquez Monroy, has been moved to the Yolo County Jail in Woodland.
Monroy and her husband, Marcelo Marquez, have been charged in the murders of Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Oliver and Placer County Sheriff's Detective Michael Davis.
Marcel Marquez was moved from the Sacramento County Jail to the El Dorado County Jail last week.
Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones had previously said that he would relocate Marquez and Monroy from the county jail while they await trial in last month's shooting spree.
