Sacramento County Registrar of Voters Jill LaVine says the final results have been certified for the November 4th general election.
She says turnout was 48 percent.
LaVine says there are 683-thousand registered voters in Sacramento county. And more voters are using mail ballots. On November 4, 66 percent voted by mail.
Meanwhile, election results in Nevada are also in the process of being certified.
Catherine Lu with the Secretary of State's office, says the Nevada Supreme Court certified election results Wednesday.
Nevada voters took part in record low numbers.
Just 45.5 percent of more than 1.2 million active registered voters went to the polls.
The previous low turnout was 49 percent in 1998.
Republican Governor Brian Sandoval's easy re-election led a GOP sweep of all six statewide offices.
Incoming Republicans are Mark Hutchison as lieutenant governor, Adam Laxalt as attorney general, Barbara Cegavske as secretary of state, Dan Schwartz as treasurer and Ron Knecht as controller.
Joe Heck and Mark Amodei are heading back to Congress, and Republican Cresent Hardy will replace Democratic Congressman Steven Horsford.
