A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday for the Sacramento Valley.
According to the National Weather Service, dense fog can reduce visibility and increase travel times for communters.
Officials encourage motorists to slow down, use headlights and leave plenty of distance between vehicles.
Meanwhile, a high wind watch will be in effect starting Wednesday for the Sacramento Valley.
Motorists are being warned that the high winds could impact driving conditions and could cause tree damage and power outages.
