(AP) -- Wind and freeze warnings and watches are blanketing the Sierra Nevada and much of the rest of Northern California Wednesday.
Falling trees killed two people in separate incidents as winds topped 60 mph in the Paradise ridge area of Butte County in the northern Sierra foothills.
Frost is possible Wednesday night in some areas of the San Francisco Bay.
