A passenger plane made an emergency landing at Sacramento International Airport Friday morning after a bird strike.
The Airport's Operations Manager says the United Airlines plane hit a bird shortly after takeoff, and the pilots turned it around and landed safely back at Sacramento International.
The plane is now being inspected.
