More than a dozen boats have been destroyed in a fire that began around midnight at the marina in Walnut Grove.
KCRA reports the fire started just after midnight and took several hours to contain.
The Walnut Grove Fire District says no one was hurt in a fire that started at the Walnut Grove Marina after midnight last night-- but 14 boats burned and subsequently sank.
The fire did damage to the dock and polluted the water with debris. An Assistant Chief with the Department says haz mat workers with Sacramento County are on scene.
The cause of the the fire is under investigation.
