(AP) - The mother suspected in the death of her 20-day-old boy has the support of her husband and family.
The parents of Samantha Green said Sunday that their daughter loved the infant Justice Rees and that she would never intentionally harm him.
The Sacramento Bee reports that Green's husband told a local television station that she and the baby were fleeing some undefined threat. He says he stands by his wife.
The body of Green's baby was found along the banks of the Sacramento River on Wednesday outside of Sacramento. The mother and son were reported missing Monday.
The coroner says the baby drowned or died of hypothermia. Green is being held without bail in Yolo County jail.
