The men's and women's races for the 2015 Amgen Tour of California kicked off Sunday morning.
The 126.2-mile men's race route winds through Sacramento -- from the state capitol and into the small towns of Clarksburg, Courtland and Walnut Grove, as well as Davis and Woodland.
Meanwhile, Stage 3 of the women's race is a 2-mile circuit with a finish lined on L Street. This will close the women's road race for the tour. They will head to Big Bear in Southern California for a time trial.
