A stretch of coastline in Long Beach was closed yesterday after tar balls washed ashore. It's the latest Southern California beach to close because of the oily goo. While we don't know the exact cause, experts suspect it's from the oil spill in Santa Barbara County. And that's where California Attorney General Kamala Harris was yesterday to say she's deciding whether the state should bring criminal charges against Plain's All-American pipeline.
