The cost of cleaning up last month's oil spill on the Santa Barbara coast has reached $62 million so far.
Plains All American Pipeline reported Wednesday that costs are running at $3 million a day, and there's no timetable for when the cleanup will be finished.
The company is required under U.S. law to reimburse the costs for all responders, including state and federal agencies.
The UC Davis Oiled Wildlife Care Network is one of the responders being reimbursed. The OWCN has been taking care of wildlife following the spill.
The spill network reported that as of June 10, 161 birds and 87 mammals have been found dead; with 60 birds and 46 mammals found alive.
