6:45 p.m. As of 6:30 p.m., officials say the fire has been contained and crews are working on hot spots.
4:30 p.m. Crews are battling a fast-moving grass fire north of Sacramento that has prompted voluntary evacuations, according to the Sacramento Fire Department.
The fire is burning on Elk Horn Boulevard and East Levee Road.
An initial report indicates that the blaze is threatening multiple homes and there's a possiblity that some structures have been lost.
About 75 to 100 firefighters are battling the blaze.
