The National Weather Service in Reno is warning of flash flooding in the Reno and Truckee areas until 5:15 p.m.
Earlier Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service in Reno reported severe thunderstorms in the region with hail in both Reno and Truckee.
The weather service suggests staying indoors away from windows due to 40 mph winds, lightning and heavy rainfall.
