July 26, 7 p.m. - With containment of the Kyburz Fire at 90 percent, all lanes on Highway 50 have been reopened.
Motorists are still being urged to drive carefully as firefighters and equipment may still be in the area.
July 26, 8:20 a.m. - The Kyburz Fire in Eldorado National Forest is now 80 percent contained, with 98 acres burned, according to officials.

5:15 p.m. -- Crews gained more ground on the Kyburz Fire burning in the Eldorado National Forest.
The fire stands at 200 acres and is now 70 percent contained.
2:30 p.m. -- Fire officials report no change Saturday in the containment or acreage of the Kyburz Fire in Eldorado National Forest. The fire stands at 200 acres with 30 percent containment.
Ice House Reservoir has reopened to public use. Boats had been prohibited on Ice House Reservoir as they were interering with helicopter water bucket operations.
U.S. Highway 50 is open in one lane, with metered traffic, in the burn area. A voluntary evacuation order remains in place from Sand Flat campground east to Strawberry.
