The Rocky Fire started on Wednesday, but tripled in size over the weekend to about 84 square miles. The Rocky Fire is only five percent contained. It has destroyed 24 homes and is threatening thousands more. Gov. Jerry Brown declared a "state of emergency" on Friday to release resources to fight the 21 major fires in the state right now.
