Cal Fire officials say they've determined the cause of the destructive Rocky Fire, which burned tens of thousands of acres in Napa and Lake counties.
They say the blaze was sparked by a faulty water heater in an outbuilding in Clearlake.
The Rocky Fire scorched nearly 70,000 acres and destroyed 43 homes.
Cal Fire says while the water heater is the cause, the circumstances surrounding the fire are still under investigation.
