There was a lot of activity at the California state Capitol yesterday. Assembly members spent two hours debating legislation that would allow terminally-ill Californians to end their lives with a doctor's assistance. Governor Jerry Brown and key Democratic leaders altered a high profile climate change measure. And Brown threw in a veto just to make things interesting. Our own Ben Adler has some analysis.
