In Tuolumne County, four students at Summerville High School have been arrested for plotting a school shooting.
Sheriff's deputies say they uncovered evidence including a list of victims, locations, and methods to attack their school.
Sheriff Jim Mele said during a Saturday press release that his office was contacted by Summerville High School administration on Sept. 30 saying three students were planning to shoot faculty and students.
Deputies began an investigation and served two search warrants, interviewed staff, students and possible suspects.
A fourth student was found to also be involved in the plan.
Mele said after the arrests of the suspects, it is believed there is no further threat to the community.
