Downtown Gas Leak Blocks Traffic As Crews Work To Find Source

4:45 p.m. Yolobus released a startment saying the 14th and H street bus stop will be closed to all buses due to the gas leak. Riders should expect delays as buses are being rerouted to avoid the area. For more information about individual reroutes, call 916-371-2877.

ORIGINAL: Sacramento Fire Department crews responded to a gas leak in downtown Thursday afternoon. The leak caused the closure of I street from 14th to 15th and H to J streets. PG&E crews are pulling up manhole covers and trying to find the source.

Evacuations are required at 15th and I streets. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
