The FBI in Sacramento is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information the theft of weapons from an FBI vehicle.
The theft occurred in Benicia early this morning. Three handguns, a badge and credentials, and other bureau property, were taken from an FBI vehicle that was parked in a residential area. The bureau says the vehicle was "secured" at the time of the theft.
Anyone with information about the stolen items is asked to call the FBI Sacramento field office at 916-481-9110.
The FBI, along with the California Highway Patrol, Solano County Sheriff’s Office, Benicia Police Department, Fairfield Police Department, and Vallejo Police Department, are jointly investigating this matter.
