The Sacramento Police are searching the American Legion High School area for a suspect who fled on foot after gunshots were heard Thursday afternoon.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, a precautionary lockdown of the school was in place but has been lifted. Police and K9 officers are still in the area. People are advised to stay out of the area until further notice.
The high school is located on the 3800 block of Broadway.
