UPDATE:
ORIGINAL: A man was shot to death when he tried to intervene a stabbing in Stockton Tuesday.
He saw the stabbing that happened at about 10:45 a.m. on the intersection of Tam O'Shanter and Fallbrook and was fired at by the attacker.
The shooting victim was pronounced dead at the scene while the condition of the stabbing victim is unclear.
Stockton Police found the suspect shortly after.
Parklane Elementary was placed on a precautionary lockdown as a result of the shooting but was lifted at around 11 a.m.
