Sacramento Police located a 23-year-old woman who was the victim of a fatal gun shot wound in North Highlands.
Officers received a call regarding shots fired at around 12:40 a.m. The woman was wounded on her upper torso and declared deceased at the scene.
A preliminary investigation shows the suspect fired from outside the residence. No other details were revealed.
