A gas leak in East Sacramento has prompted evacuations and a "shelter in place" order for nearby Mercy General Hospital and Sacred Heart School.
Sacramento Police have issued a traffic advisory, as H street is closed from 38th to San Antonio.
Pacific Gas and Electric crews are on the scene.
