(AP) - A man adopted just days after birth met his biological sister more than 30 years later in a Fresno airport.
The Fresno Bee reports that Mirasol Espinesen was 8 when her parents brought home a tiny baby boy from the military hospital in Twentynine Palms. Within days, the baby had been adopted.
Espinesen began searching for her little brother on her 18th birthday. And the boy, now 33-year-old Jorick Soriano, was looking for her. The two finally connected when Espinesen found an ad Soriano placed on Adoption Registry Connect's website.
After about two years of exchanging calls and emails, the pair hugged at Fresno Yosemite International Airport on Monday. They were joined by middle sibling Kirk Patience.
Soriano and Espinesen will stay with Patience in Fresno for the week.
