Part of a major thoroughfare in downtown Sacramento, near the State Capitol building, is closed Thursday morning in preparation for a soccer block party.
Sacramento Republic FC fans will be holding a rally to welcome Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber, who's visiting Sacramento.
The rally takes place at 11 a.m. on L Street between 15th and 16th.
