Crews Battle Tulloch Fire In Tuolumne County

Update May 31, 7:45 a.m.: Cal Fire says the Tulloch Fire in Tuolumne County is now 85 acres and is 60 percent contained.

Update 7:27 p.m.: The Tulloch Fire in Tuolumne County is now 85 acres and 30 percent contained.

Original Post: Cal Fire crews are battling a 100-acre fire near New Melones Lake in Tuolumne County.

About 125 personnel are at the scene of the Tulloch Fire off of New Peoria Flat Road and Old Melones Road west of Sonora.

There is currently no containment.
