A tech firm from San Francisco is planning to set up an office in Sacramento. The company is called Parrable and it monitors web user data.
The Sacramento Business Journal's Digital Editor Sonya Sorich says the two-year-old company was encouraged by the region's relatively lower business costs.
"Parrable expects to establish a Sacramento outpost and eventually bring 25 to 50 jobs here," says Sorich. "And it's important to note - this is not a new headquarters, just a Sacramento outpost."
Earlier this year another tech company, the cloud storage firm Flipbox, announced that it is also coming to Sacramento. The Florida-based company plans to hire 25 people by the end of January and later increase that number.
