A Woodland woman whose infant son was found dead near the Sacramento River in 2015 has been convicted of murder.
A Yolo County jury convicted 25-year-old Samantha Green in the death of her son Justice.
Investigators say Green was found wandering and disoriented in February 2015 near the town of Knights Landing.
Prosecutors first charged Green with involuntary manslaughter, but then changed the charge to second-degree murder. They say she was high on methamphetamine when she wandered into the slough where her son was later found.
